Mark Ordesky is a founding partner in Amber Entertainment, a London and Los Angeles based company that acquires diverse intellectual property rights for their conversion into feature films, television, documentaries, interactive entertainment, publishing, direct-to-consumer platforms and consumer products. Prior to Amber, Mr. Ordesky spent 20 years at New Line Cinema, during which time he acquired or executive produced over 60 films, including the companys first Best Picture nominee (Shine). As Executive Producer for The Lord of the Rings trilogy, Mr. Ordesky was the trilogys primary advocate at New Line and spent over five years supervising its development, production, and post-production. Mr. Ordesky was also a pioneer in utilizing onscreen Asian talent for global releases when he introduced Jackie Chan to Hollywood in 1996s Rumble in the Bronx. (Jackie Chan later went on to star for New Line in the Rush Hour trilogy that grossed $850 million in worldwide box office.) Collectively, films Mr. Ordesky has championed and acquired have grossed $3.75 billion at the worldwide box office.
Jane Fleming is a founding partner and producer in Amber Entertainment, a London and Los Angeles based company that acquires diverse intellectual property rights for their conversion into feature films, television, documentaries, interactive entertainment, publishing, direct-to-consumer platforms and consumer products. Concurrently, Ms. Fleming has served as President of Women In Film for the last four years. Prior to starting Amber Entertainment, Ms. Fleming was Senior Vice President, Business Development, New Line Cinema and Fine Line Features where she was responsible for evaluating new film and television projects and finding co-financing partners for new projects. Prior to joining New Line in 1993, Ms. Fleming was a business consultant at Claypoint Productions, a producer of TV documentaries. She was also the Consultant to the Chairman of the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. She started her career as a financial analyst in Mergers and Acquisitions at the investment banks, James D. Wolfensohn Incorporated and Drexel Burnham Lambert. She graduated from Princeton University cum laude with a degree in History.
